Get paid the moment they book

Attach payment or a deposit to booking so no-shows drop toward zero and your calendar only holds people with skin in the game.

  1. 1

    Connect the payment processor first

Payments, then Integrations: connect Stripe (or your available processor). Without this, calendar payments cannot switch on.

  2. 2

    Enable payment on the calendar

In the calendar’s Forms and Payment settings, toggle payment and set the amount: full price for productized sessions, a modest deposit for services quoted later.

  3. 3

    Say what the money does

On the booking page and confirmation, state it plainly: "The deposit reserves your slot and applies to your service." Clarity here prevents disputes later.

  4. 4

    Write the refund rule once

Decide the cancellation window (48 hours is common), publish it on the booking page, and honor it mechanically.

  5. 5

    Route the paid signal

Payment plus booking is a strong intent signal: tag paid-booking and skip these contacts past low-intent nurture sequences.

  6. 6

    Test with a real card

Book and pay with a live card (refund yourself after). Confirm the charge, the receipt, the calendar event, and the tag all fire.

Do it with Claude

Claude reconciles paid bookings against transactions through the MCP payments reads: "Any bookings this week where payment failed or was refunded?"

Watch out for

  • Turning on deposits with no stated refund policy, then fighting disputes.
  • Requiring payment on discovery calls where friction kills the funnel.
